Lithium Carbonates
Lithium grade carbonate is a colorless monoclinic crystal or white powder, commonly used as a raw material in lithium-ion
batteries. It has a density of 2.11 g/cm3 and a melting point of 618 ºC. It dissolves in dilute acid and is slightly soluble in water, with greater solubility in cold water compared to hot water. It is insoluble in alcohol and a cetone.
