Zirconium Carbonate is a water insoluble Zirconium source that can easily be converted to other Zirconium compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination). Carbonate compounds also give off carbon dioxide when treated with dilute acids. Zirconium Carbonate is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity and high purity compositions improve both optical quality and usefulness as scientific standards.
Property: White crystal powder, insoluble in water and alkali, easily dissolved in acid. Decompose in air at normal temperature, decomposed by heat, decomposing speed will quicken when the temperature is going up. At last, it will be decomposed and transformed into zirconium dioxide.
