Description
Acetic acid, also known as acetic acid, glacial acetic acid. Colorless liquid or crystal, weakly acidic and highly corrosive in aqueous solution, and the vapor is irritating to eyes and nose. Acetic acid is an essential chemical used in the preparation of many compounds. For example, vinyl acetate monomer, acetic anhydride, other esters and vinegars. Acetic acid is often used as a solvent for recrystallization and purification of organic compounds, and diluted acetic acid solution is often used as a rust removal agent because of its mild acidity. Acetic acid can be used as an acidity regulator, acidulant, pickling agent, flavor enhancer, spice, etc. Acetic acid is the earliest and most used acidulant in my country, mainly used in compound seasonings, wax preparation, canned food, cheese, jelly, etc. When used in seasonings, acetic acid can be diluted with water to a 4%~5% solution, and then added to various seasonings.
